Picture this: you select your travel dates, handpick your dream destinations, secure your tickets, plan thrilling activities, and even curate your ideal hotel stays. It's a tailor-made holiday, all made possible by HOLIDODO.

The app's name was a creative contribution from our experienced product owner, inspired by the charming DODO bird. Combining it with "Holiday" gave birth to this delightful project name. The app's concept was to empower travelers to design their own adventures, offering a personalized touch to each journey. While the project didn't progress beyond the discovery phase, we laid a solid foundation.

Our journey began with an intensive week-long exercise in creating a user journey map. It was like connecting the dots on a vast graphic canvas, providing us with a clear roadmap to guide our efforts. Subsequently, we delved into crafting the user flow, intricately weaving together tasks and content, setting the stage for wireframing.

Unfortunately, unforeseen circumstances temporarily halted the project at this stage, preventing the design phase from taking flight. With just a week on hand, I engaged three mock users. Through mock questionnaires and conversations, I unraveled their pain points. The revelation? Planning woes hit frequent travelers hardest.

Armed with insights, I meticulously aligned their responses with every user interaction phase. But I didn't stop at booking! I ventured further to explore user expectations post-booking.

After pinpointing pain points and user tasks, my next step was to construct a user flow chart prior to diving into wireframing. The process proved straightforward, given the abundance of valuable insights. Task enumeration and connection of dots, often triggering sub-tasks, crafted a comprehensive roadmap.
